“PHARMACY” Not “Farmacy”…….. much population of that time (around 1970) and some of today also not knowing it. When they hear “famRsI” they think of some course related to Farm (Agriculture). In that era at geographically secluded place like KHAMBHAT (Cambay) Shri M N College of Pharmacy was established. The whole credit must go to intellectual soul late shri Ranjitary Gangashankar Shastri and his excellent vision.With their foresight of development of Pharmaceutical field and time based need of Pharmacists in society and industry, this college was thought to be established by late shri Ranjitary Gangashankar Shastri. Khambhat being their Native and resident of Mumbai, Smt. Vidhyaben Parikh helped in lying stepping stone and establishing the college by donating Rs. 2,51,000/- (Rs. Two lakh fiftyone thousand) in reminiscence of her husband late shri Mohanlal Narandas Parikh in 1970. |

This is the 2nd Pharmay college to be established in Gujarat. Today under the Guidance of chairman of Shri Khambhat Taluka Sarvajanik Kelavani Mandal, Sheth Shri Bhagvatilal D Rao the Institute is still in progression of never ending development.At beginning very learned person like Shri B. D. Parikh was principal of this college. Dr. Madhubhai Patel Ex-Vice Chancellor of North Gujarat University, Dr. Bharatbhai Patel, Ex-Vice Chancellor of S P University are the ex faculty of this institute. Dr. N. M. Patel, Dr. K. N. Patel, Dr. J S Dangi, Dr. N R Sheth, Dr. H M Tank are few of the ex faculty of this institute who are serving as Principal at various degree pharmacy college in India. |

Under the guidance of Principle M H Pathan and hard work by Shri S K Gohil, Shri L S Patel, Shri Parag Bhatt & Shri Vishal Chudasama institute has fetched Grant of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Ten Lakh) for development and modernization of the institute by AICTE, New Delhi under scheme of MODROBS.Number of ex students of this college has established them selves in countries like USA, Canada, England etc. and earning handsome amount.Following are some the well established and successful students of this college in touch with us with in Gujarat.
